Mrs. A'Dale Lynn Hunter Jarrell

April 30, 1957 — March 9, 2021

A’Dale Lynn Hunter Jarrell was born on April 30, 1957, in Trion, Georgia to Mr. Wilburn Hayward Hunter Sr. and Mrs. Betty Ruth Hartline Hunter. A’Dale attended Trion High School, and shortly thereafter attended Floyd Junior College. She continued her education at Berry College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in June of 1987. She married Kenneth Todd Jarrell on December 10, 1988. A’Dale worked with the Division of Youth Services in Rome, GA where she mentored and supported children as a court service worker. Throughout her career, A’Dale was dedicated to assisting and guiding troubled and disadvantaged youth. After retiring from work, she enjoyed traveling with her husband. Throughout her illnesses, A’Dale kept her steadfast faith in the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents and two uncles. She is survived by her husband, and best friend, Kenneth Jarrell; brother, Hayward Hunter (Trion, GA); sister-in-law Regina (Steve) Freeman (Calhoun, GA); nephew Dustin (Sarah Beth) Redmond (Riner, VA); sister-in-law Carmen (Jay) Johnson (Marathon, FL); niece Chandler Johnson (Athens, GA); and numerous cousins. Graveside services will take place in West Hill Cemetery on March 13 th , at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
