Mrs. Ann (Daniel) Dyer

Mrs. Annie Laura “Ann” Dyer, age 98 of Trion, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Dyer was born in Rome, Georgia on September 30, 1923, daughter of the late Joe Lynn Daniel and Bonzie Ruth Hall Daniel.  She was a member of the Northside Church of God, where she was active as the church Treasurer and a Sunday School Teacher.  Mrs. Dyer was retired from the Riegel Textile (Mt. Vernon) as a Billing Clerk.  She loved traveling, camping and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dyer was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Dyer; daughter, Marilyn Clark; sisters, Jo Loach and Sue Buttram; and a brother, Lynn Daniel.

Mrs. Dyer is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kerry and Nan Dyer; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dyer will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Deitz officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Charles Thomas, CJ Thomas, Cody Thomas, Rob Looney, Blake Clark and Kevin Wallin.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Mrs. Frances Hamby.

Mrs. Dyer will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
