Ann Scoggins

Mrs. Sarah Ann Scoggins, age 94 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Scoggins was born in Trion, Georgia on March 8, 1932, daughter of the late Manuel Wike and Bonnie Bryant Wike. She was a member of the Trion Heights Baptist Church and was retired from Berry College. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scoggins was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Lee “Red” Scoggins and sisters, Ruth Gaylor, Cleo Bynum, Jo Dyer, Gail Dooley, Myrtice Powell.

Mrs. Scoggins is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Randy Howie; grandson and his wife, Justice and Michelle Chamlee; great grandchildren, Cooper Chamlee and Jackson Chamlee; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment Services for Mrs. Scoggins will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 11:30 A.M. in the West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Coffman Funeral Home.
