Anthony Morris Campbell, Sr.

Mr. Anthony Morris “Tony” Campbell, Sr. age 75 of Trion, Georgia passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 in a Rome hospital.

Mr. Campbell was born in Trion, Georgia on January 17, 1947, son of the late Willie Campbell and Doris Akins Campbell. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Georgia Masons, he was a locksmith for 25 years and truck driver for 27 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Campbell, a daughter, Cindy Campbell Brown and a brother, Jack Campbell.

Mr. Campbell is survived by his daughters, Angela Campbell Black, Nicole Campbell and J.J. Irvine; son, Anthony “Zipper” Campbell, Jr. brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth & Darlene Campbell; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Campbell will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Bishop officiating.

Mr. Campbell will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.
