Mr. Arnold Ray Smith

Mr. Arnold Ray Smith, age 66 of Trion, GA passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Smith was born in Summerville, Georgia on December 14, 1953, son of the late Jesse E. Smith and Lucille Teems Smith. He was an avid roller skater in his younger days, enjoyed watching wrestling and watching T.V. He was a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by brothers, Charles Smith and Donald Wayne Smith, and a sister, Frances Maton.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Connie Smith; brothers, David E. “Dan” Smith of Summerville and Frank Reed of Trion; sisters, Charlotte Wallace of Cave Spring and Jessie Mae Willingham of Summerville and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services for Mr. Smith will be held Monday, February 11, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Bishop officiating. Private interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Smith will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
