Mrs. Arrie Mae Black

Mrs. Arrie Mae Black, age 76 of Trion, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Black was born in Summerville, Georgia on December 15, 1943, daughter of the late John B. Padgette and Agnes Louise Teems Padgette. She was a member of the Waterville Baptist Church and prior to retirement was employed from E.T. Barwick.   In addition to her parents, Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Allen Black; daughters, Bonnie Faye Kirby, Agnes Louise Kirby, Lynn Kirby and Kimberly Kirby; a brother, Johnny Ray Padgette; and a sister, Helen Hawkins.

Mrs. Black is survived by her sons, Hannis P. Kirby, Jr. and Johnny Charles Kirby; sisters, Teresa Noles and Yvonne Wigley; several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Black will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Lafayette Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Dawson, Troy Burrage, Robert Norman, Justin White, Ryan Kirby and Wesley Holland.

Mrs. Black will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
