Mr. Billy Ray "Bubba" Medley

Mr. Billy Ray “Bubba” Medley, age 43 of Lyerly, Georgia passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Medley was born in Gadsden, Alabama on December 4, 1975, son of Billy Joe Medley and Imogene Justice Medley. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother and was a friend to everyone he met. He was an avid Alabama Fan and loved to play drums, especially at the Menlo Barn Dance, was a member of the Redemption Worship Center and was employed in the Denim Finishing Department at Mt. Vernon Mills.

Mr. Medley is survived by his wife, Katharine Lowrance “Kathy” Medley; sons, Justin Raylin Medley and Brandon Lee Snowden; daughters, Gabrielle Medley, Sinclaire Caldwell, Amber Woods and Alexis Snowden; parents, Billy Joe and Imogene Medley; sisters, Tamara Blackmon and Rebecca York; 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Medley will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Pastor David Reeves officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Kirk, Richard Bass, Claude Huskey, Justin Millican, Cody Matney, David Swift, Christopher Pierce and Randy Justice.

Mr. Medley will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
