Bobbie Marie Blackmon

Mrs. Bobbie Marie Blackmon, age 43 of Summerville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at her residence.

Bobbie was born in Rome, Georgia on August 27, 1982, daughter of Donna Lee Hulsey Cook and the late Robert Terry Hewitt. She had attended the New Haven Baptist Church and was a stay at home Mom. Bobbie loved arts and crafts, and was affectionately nicknamed “Bob the Builder” due to her love of crafting and using miniature tools. She also made custom T-Shirts. In addition to her father, Bobbie was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lauralie Blackmon.

Bobbie is survived by her companion of 13 years, Jacob Bartels, Sr.; children, Emily Blackmon, Rosa Blackmon, Robert James Blackmon, Aszrian Bartels, Jacob Bartels, Jr. and Michael Goodman, sister, Terry Monroy; granddaughter, Lauralie Bartels; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Bobbie’s wishes, she will be cremated and the family may have a memorial service at a later date.
