Bobbie Lee Hughes

Mrs. Bobbie Lee Hughes, age 96 of Orlando, FL formerly of Summerville, GA passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at the residence in Orlando, FL.  Mrs. Hughes was born in Collinsville, AL on June 23, 1916.  Mrs. Hughes was a housewife and a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Vinson Hughes; brothers, Bill Traffenstept and Port Traffenstept; sisters, Esther Thomas, Bett Peek, and Lois Thomas; and niece, Gladys Jackson. Mrs. Hughes is survived by sons, Allen Hughes of Trion, GA; Tim (Pat) Hughes of Taylorsville, GA; and daughter, Jean Raines of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Donna Doss, and Charlene (Glenn) Davidson of Orlando, FL, Wayne Hughes of Summerville, GA, Vinson Hughes of Cloudland, GA, Jeffry Hughes of Lyerly, GA, Renee (Eddie) Lanham of Summerville, GA, Raymond Hughes of Trion, GA, Sandy (Cliff) Bowen of Gray, GA, Jeff Delgado of Mobile, AL, Brandon (Olivia) Delgado of Dallas, GA, Tina (Michael) Garrison and Amy (Huck) Liles of Canton, GA; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Norton and Rev. Rickey Biddle officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens. Mrs. Hughes will lie-in-state Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  Mrs. Hughes will also lie-in-state at the Mountain View Baptist Church on Saturday from 12 - 1 p.m.   Pallbearers will be Billy Stewart, Joe Matthews, David Matthews, Mark Cothran, Cliff Bowen, and Brandon Delgado.
