Mr. Bobby Labron Cooper

Mr. Bobby Labron Cooper, age 64 of Summerville, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at the Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Cooper was born in Trion, Georgia on September 18, 1955, son of Mrs. Betty Joyce Owensby Cooper and the late Bobby Joe Cooper. He was retired from the Card Room at Mt. Vernon Mills and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Cooper was a member of the Quarter Century Club and enjoyed woodworking, painting, storage auctions and spending time with his family.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Debbie Cooper; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Nick Dooley of Summerville; sons and daughters-in-law, Scotty and Cheryl Cooper of Rome, Mark and Renee Cooper of Chattoogaville and Keldrick Powell of Chattanooga; brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman and Kathy Cooper and Mickey and Louise Cooper of Trion; Mother, Betty Cooper of Trion; grandchildren, Pacie and Logan Cooper, Grace, Lillie and Cooper Dooley, Savannah, Lynn and Malin Cooper, and Coltier and Chayton Pierce; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment services for Mr. Cooper will be held Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the West Hill Cemetery with Mr. Hoyt Ballinger officiating.

Grandchildren and employees of the Card Room at Mt. Vernon will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Due to the threat of the COVID-19 virus, there will be no visitation.
