Mrs. Bonnie Sue Whitehead

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Whitehead, age 65 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Whitehead was born in Statesville, North Carolina on August 9, 1955, daughter of the late Dwight H. Williams, Sr. and Mary Lois Folgam Williams.  She was a caregiver with The Coalition to salute America’s Heroes and was of the Christian Faith.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitehead was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Niehaus.

Mrs. Whitehead is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Melissa Shirley and Luke Shirley; sisters, Betty Heninger and Sandy Hunter; brothers, Kenneth Williams, Dwight Williams, Jr. and Dennis Williams; 5 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mrs. Whitehead’s wishes, she will be cremated and the family will have a memorial service in North Carolina at a later date.
