Mrs. Carolyn Sue Adams

Mrs. Carolyn Sue Adams, age 71 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Adams was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 2, 1950, daughter of the late Nat Lyons and Evie Rouse Lyons Callahan.  She retired from Mohawk Industries in Lyerly, Georgia.  Mrs. Adams was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.  She dearly loved her special dog, Precious, and enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, La-Shay Adams; two sons, David Hightower and Tim Hightower; sister, Annette (Rena) Jacobs; grandchildren, J’Quarius (Brianna) Wright, Ken Darius, Cashius, A’Shayah, Shawn, Lorenzo and Valerie; great grandchildren, Milana, L’Zavius and Skylar; dear mother-in-law and friend, Lurlene Adams and a number of nieces, nephews and special friends.

Graveside and Interment services for Mrs. Adams will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Summerville Cemetery with Mr. Kenneth Adams officiating.

Pallbearers will be Orlando Quijano, Kaine Darden, and family and friends.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Ken’Darius Griffin and Cashius Brown.

The family of Mrs. Adams will meet at the Coffman Funeral Home where they will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00- 1:30 P.M.
