Mrs. Carolyn Edna Harris

Mrs. Carolyn Edna Harris, age 71 of Menlo, formerly of Dalton, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Harris was born in Dalton, Georgia on February 14, 1949, daughter of the late Floyd Bryson and Carolyn Elizabeth Sharpe Bryson Stark.  She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Dalton, GA and was retired from the former Durkin Mills.  She loved gardening and working with flowers and enjoyed working with arts and crafts.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony Lee Bryson and George Floyd (GF) Bryson.

Mrs. Harris is survived by a daughter, Samantha L. Harris; step-children, Sally Harris, Chuck Harris and Jason Harris; brother, James Bryson; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Self and Susan McNeese; Former husband and caregiver, Edward L. Harris; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside and Interment services for Mrs. Harris will be held in the Green Hills Memory Gardens with her nephew, Rev. Paul Bryson officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
