Mrs. Carrie Harrison

Mrs. Carrie R. Harrison, age 94 of the Pennville Community, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Floyd Medical Center. Mrs. Harrison was born in Summerville, Georgia on December 20, 1920, daughter of the late Alec Reynolds and Mary Bachopper Reynolds. She was a member of the Pennville Baptist Church, loved to sew and crochet and was retired from Riegel Textile Mill. Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Franklin Harrison; a brother and several sisters. Mrs. Harrison is survived by her son, Greg Harrison; a sister, Beatrice Seymore; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside and Interment Services for Mrs. Harrison will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Harrison will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until the graveside hour.
