It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Nicholson Persons, who left us peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
Charlotte was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Charlotte was born on 07/10/1937 and grew up in Sylacauga, AL where she developed a deep love for crafting. She dedicated her life to her family and community, always putting others before herself. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her home was a sanctuary of love and laughter.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Persons, her two daughters, Donna Henderson & Sharon Jordan and her great granddaughter Aiden Swindle. Their memories will forever remain in our hearts, and we find comfort in knowing they are now reunited.
She is survived by her son, Scott Persons/Janet who will forever cherish the memories of his mother's gentle guidance and unconditional love; Her son-in-law, Greg Henderson; Her grandchildren, Taylor Henderson/Tyler, Heather Jordan, Matthew Persons/Marissa and Luke Persons/Asia, who will always remember their grandmother's stories, hugs, and the special moments they shared. Her great grandchildren, Lynlee & Amelia Davis and Jordan Swindle will remember the joy they brought to Charlotte every time she was around them.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Amanda Montgomery for her exceptional care, compassion, and unwavering support during Charlotte's illness. Your dedication, patience, and kindness allowed Charlotte to live in her home peacefully through her final days.
