Mr. Chris "Fat Boy" Cooper

Mr. Christopher Manson Cooper, age 34 of Trion, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Huntsville, AL following a sudden illness. Mr. Cooper was born in Rome, Georgia on March 15, 1983, son of Norman and Kathy Maton Cooper. He loved spending time with his children; loved to fishing and hunt, and trains always seemed to bring the little boy out in him. He never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh. He was employed with Gadcom Telecommunications, was a member of the Lineman Association and was of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bobby Cooper and Leonard Maton; and a grandmother Urray Nell Young. Mr. Cooper is survived by daughters, Mylee Cooper and Brinley Cooper; a son, Tyler Parker; fiancé, Erica Parker; grandmother, Betty Cooper; sisters, Breezy (Brandon) Henderson, and Rebecca (Michael) Carico; former wife and mother of Mylee, Marla Cooper; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Cooper will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph McWhorter, Rickey Biddle officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Harris officiating. Pallbearers will be Scotty Cooper, Mark Cooper, Ryan Ledford, Chad Butler, Kenny Ledford, and Derick Statham. Honarary Pallbearers will be Gadcom Telecommunication Employees, Labron Cooper, Mickey Cooper, Bobby Maton, Ian Hulse, Jake Hulse, Eric Hulse, Kenneth Ledford, Christopher Durham and all personal friends. Mr. Cooper will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
