Mr. Clayton Pickard

Mr. Clayton Elwood Pickard, age 76, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. Mr. Pickard was born in LaFayette, Georgia on August 20, 1941, son of the late Earnest Elwood Pickard and Maggie Ruth Green Pickard. Mr. Pickard was employed with Armstrong E&B for over 40 years and was the owner of Texalabs Chemical Company. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pickard was preceded in death by wife, Janelle Price Pickard, daughter, Beverly Lynn Pickard, son, Brent Pickard, brother, Herschel Pickard, and sister, Dean Clark. Mr. Pickard is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Alan C. & Patty Pickard, brothers and sister-in-law, Russell Pickard, Doyle and Joann Pickard, sisters and brother-in-law, Charlene Cagle, Montyne & Alvin Mullis, former wife & special friend, Sherry Pickard, grandchildren, Navar Pickard, Clayvin Pickard, Cade Pickard, Patton Pickard, Jade Pickard, Camden Pickard, 4 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mr. Pickard will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home, with Rev. James Washington officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Navar Pickard, Clayvin Pickard, Patton Pickard, Malcolm Pickard, Camden Pickard, Greg Pickard. Mr. Pickard will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M.
