Mrs. Connie Steele Basham

Mrs. Connie Steele Basham, age 68 of Rossville, GA passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Mrs. Basham was born in Lafayette, GA on September 22, 1951, daughter of the late Charles Franklin Steele, Sr. and Mildred Virginia Lowrance Haynes. She was an avid Tennessee Vols Fan, loved the Atlanta Braves and enjoyed knitting. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Basham was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlene Campbell and Cora Drucilla Basham.

Mrs. Basham is survived by a daughter and her fiancé, Deanna Basham and Aaron Tate; sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Amanda Mull and Kelly and Shannon Mull; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Eaves and Charlotte and Raymond Ham; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Basham will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Chaplain Neil Westra officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Mull, Dakota Basham, Harley Mull, Thomas Mull, Austin Peters, Corey Stoker and Blaine Morgan.

Mrs. Basham will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
