Mrs. Connie Faye Collette

Mrs. Connie Faye Collette, age 69 of Trion, Georgia passed away Friday, April 2, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Collette was born in Rome, Georgia on June 23, 1951.  She has been employed with the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as the activities director, and has also worked at Northwest Georgia Technical College and the Floyd Behavioral Center.  Mrs. Collette was preceded in death by a sister, Claudia Dupree; a step-son, Maurice Collette and a step-grandson, Jordan Reynolds.

Mrs. Collette is survived by her husband, John M. “Fargo” Collette; step-children, Tina McCutchins,  Brian Collette, Wess Collette and Eisa Collette; step-grandchildren, Tabatha Reid, Lilly Keith, Braxton Sanford and Emilie Collette; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mrs. Collette’s wishes, she will be cremated and the family may hold a memorial service at a later date.
