Mr. Danny Kilgore

Mr. Delmos Daniel “Danny” Kilgore, age 69 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Danny was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 4, 1951, son of the late Woodrow Kilgore and Nellie Hunter Kilgore.  He was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church and was self employed in the cleaning industry.  Danny was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He had been in the Volunteer Rescue Unit, and enjoyed detailing his truck, collecting model cars, and spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Eller and brothers, Jesse Frank Kilgore and Bobby Kilgore.

Danny is survived by his wife, Rachael Kilgore; children, Damon and Jennifer Kilgore, Allen and Jasmine Kilgore, Amanda and Tonio Hart, Christie Price, Kandia and Kevin Phillips and Abby and Tyler Jenkins; brothers, C.L. Kilgore and Thomas Kilgore; grandchildren, Chris Pack, Talaylah Price, MaKayla Kilgore, Brison Phillips, Bryson Pollock, Maddy Kilgore, Gracie Phillips, Conner Elrod, Navin Price, Addilyn Kilgore and Renesmee Kilgore; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Danny will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the Spring Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Holman, Ray Caldwell, Joan Bagley and Ricky Bagley.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Durham, Shane Ruth , Ray Ray Caldwell, Jeffery Caldwell, Jacob Caldwell and Eathen Caldwell.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Spring Creek Baptist Church, Compton Denistry, Bladz Hair Shop, Joe Cook, Jim’s Restaurant, T.R. and David Eller, David Craig and Larry LuAllen.

Danny will be in state at his residence, 669 Orchard Hill Road, where the family will receive friends after 2:00 P.M. Saturday
