Debra Louise Cordle Taylor

Mrs. Debra Louise Cordle Taylor, age 52 of Melba Drive, Trion, GA passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Floyd Medical Center.  Mrs. Taylor was born in Annapolis, Maryland on January 29, 1960.    She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her father and mother, Roy Lee Cordle and Ella Rose Easterday Cordle; and sister, Barbara Jones. Mrs. Taylor is survived by son, Michael Taylor of Trion, GA; daughter, Rebecca Elrod of Trion, GA; and son, Billy P. Taylor, Jr. of Subligna, GA;  sisters, Brenda Hollingsworth of LaFayette, GA; and, Judy Shockley of Glen Burnie, Maryland; brothers, Richard Cordle of Ringgold, GA, Charles Cordle and David Cordle of Summerville, GA, and Roy Lee Cordle, Jr. of Florida; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Bishop officiating.    Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor will lie-in-state Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where  the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Pallbearers will be Scott Smith, Barry Tapp, Chris Brown, Matthew Cordle, Jeffery Cordle, Matt Dixon, Kenny Ledford, and Ryan Ledford. Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home is in charge.
