Mrs. Della Sparks

Mrs. Della Sparks, age 84, of Trion, Georgia, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Sparks was born in Trion, Georgia on April 29, 1930, daughter of the late Harper Kirk Yarbrough and Nellie White Yarbrough. She was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a farmer and housewife. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sparks was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Sparks, Sr. Mrs. Sparks is survived by her sons, John Sparks of Summerville and Ellis Sparks, Jr. of the Mountain View Community; daughter and son-in-law, Sonia and Rickey Avans of Lafayette; sister, Ruby Tidmore; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a special niece, Judy Morrison of Ringgold. Graveside and Interment Services will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:30 in the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marshall Gray, Earl Tidmore, Steven Gray, Edward Tidmore and Wayne Tidmore. Mrs. Sparks will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. prior to the graveside services.
