Mrs. Demia Ann Bowling age 53 of Elm Street, Trion, GA passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Bowling was born July 5, 1957 in Mullins, WVA.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed making jewelry.   Mrs. Bowling was preceded in death by her father and mother, James Kennice Cook, Sr and Betty Sue Beamon Cook and a brother, James Kennice Cook, Jr.   Mrs. Bowling is survived by her son, Steven Bland of Trion, GA; her husband, Carl Bowling of Trion, GA; her sisters, Teresa Kruis of South Carolina, Sammie Chaudhary of North Carolina, Earlene Stone of Michigan, and Mildred Cook of Michigan; her brother, William Cook of Michigan.   Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 1 pm from the chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Pierce officiating.     Mrs. Bowling will lie-in-state on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 12  to 6 pm.   Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Demia Ann Bowling who passed away on Monday.
