Mrs. Diana Lee Starkey

Mrs. Diana Lee Starkey, age 71 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Floyd Medical Center following an extended illness.

Diana was born in Lafayette, Georgia on January 8, 1950, daughter of the late George Vaughn, Jr. and Doris Ruth Day.  She was retired from the Tufting Department of Mohawk Industries and was of the Baptist Faith.  She loved to read and enjoyed shopping.  In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Allen Vaughn.

Diana is survived by her husband, Larry Starkey; son and daughter-in-law, Kristopher and Christina Willis; grandchildren, Riley Kristopher Willis, Hannah Marks and Tripp Marks; and cousins, Karen Howard and Pam Brown.

Funeral Services for Diana will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in the AMI Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Don Glass, Tim Day, Terry Day, Jimmy McCullough, Derrick Brown and Scott Howard.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Pete Vaughn and the Vaughn Family; Nancie Sellers and Carol Thomason.

Diana will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
