Mrs. Edith Odon Willmon

Mrs. Edith Odon Willmon, age 60 of the Pennville Community, Summerville, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Willmon was born in Eastern Samar, Philippines on June 18, 1958, daughter of the late Donato Odon and Semiona Quilbio Odon. She was a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church and had been a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rome. She was a member of the Filipino Community, member of the Lions Club, and was formerly employed with Mt. Vernon Mills. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willmon was preceded in death by her husband, James Doyle Willmon, a sister, Marilou Odon, and her step-mother, Medelita Odon.

Mrs. Willmon is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Andrea Willmon and Stephanie and Bobby Spear; sisters, Corazon Quilbio, Maritess Gastardo, Eliza Quilbio, and Marilyn Quilbio; brothers, Ceasar Quilbio and Romeo Quilbio; grandchildren, Caden Willmon, Garrett Spear, Trinity Spear and Levi Mason; special friends, Carolyn Blackmon, Frescy Wesson and Edna Mitchell; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Willmon will be held Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Bishop officiating. Interment services will be private.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Caden Willmon, Garrett Spear, Levi Mason and Bobby Spear.

Mrs. Willmon will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
