Emma Leah Crawford

Mrs. Emma Leah Crawford, age 88 of Summerville, Georgia, passed away on June 23, 2026 at the Oakview Nursing and Rehab facility in Summerville, Georgia.

Emma was born on May 27, 1938, daughter of the late John W. Arnold and Emma Wynn Arnold in a small town near Stevenson, Alabama formerly known as Rash, Alabama. Although being born in Alabama, she spent most of her life living here in the northwest Georgia area. Emma was of the Baptist faith and attended New Antioch Baptist Church in Summerville, Georgia. During her working years, Emma was a faithful employee working as a Food Service Worker for Restaurant Enterprise in Trion, Georgia. In her spare time, Emma enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially baking.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, the late Charles Crawford and sisters: Dorothy McAllister, Edna Arnold and Molly Arnold.

She is survived by a son, Barry McCrickard (Debbie); sisters, Johnnie Matthews and Betty Teague Thomason; grandchildren, Brittney Bagley (Miles) and Alan McCrickard (Leann).

Services for Emma will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Reverend Harold Helton officiating. Interment is to follow in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Pall bearers will be Jamey Teague, Dee Callihan, Treyton Coffman, Miles Bagley, Isaiah Bagley and Elijah Hurley.

Visitation for Mrs. Crawford will from 11:00 until 12:00 noon on Friday, June 26, 2026.
