Ethan Brock passed away April 24, 2026, at the age of 22.
Born on April 2, 2004, Ethan lived a life marked by compassion, individuality, and deep capacity for care. Known by friends as Erin, they will be remembered for being funny, caring, thoughtful, and gentle. They loved birds, cats, and science – especially space – and often went out of their way to help others.
Ethan was the spouse of Krista (Ozment) Brock, whom they married and shared a meaningful time together. Ethan was a partner to their wife, Krista, in every sense – full of laughter and unconditional love and acceptance. Their two cats, Mimikyu and Sonar, were a constant source of comfort and joy and were loved as family.
Ethan is survived by his wife, Krista Ozment Brock, his parents, Eric and Christian Brock; his brother and sister-in-law, Aidan and Sydney Brock; a nephew, Grady Brock; grandparents, Larry and Brenda Brock, David and Linda Fowler and Jim and Janice Sink; and aunt, Emily Sink and cousins, Reese Hiller and Ridge Espy.
While friends and family struggle to understand this profound loss, they find comfort in the way Ethan approached life in search of building meaningful relationships and in the love they had for their family and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, Ethan will be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service.
The family respectfully asks that no flowers be sent but ask that those who wish to support Ethan’s memory consider acts of kindness, support for one another, or contributions to organizations that provide care and understanding to those in need. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a trusted person or a professional for their support.
Ethan will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
