Mrs. Eula Mae Blackmon

July 8, 1933 — February 1, 2020

Mrs. Eula Mae Blackmon, age 86 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Blackmon was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama on July 8, 1933, daughter of the late Leon Hill and Lydia Butler Hill. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a homemaker and Christian by faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Blackmon; two sons, Stanford Blackmon and Calvin Blackmon; grandchild, Macey Fletcher; two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Blackmon is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Mary Ledford and Wanda and John Brown; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Barbara Blackmon, Johnny and Retha Blackmon and Gary and Cathy Blackmon; 16 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Blackmon will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Ledford, Jonathan Blackmon, Dusty Blackmon, Tony Blackmon, Rex Millican, and Ryan Ledford. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Blackmon, Jr., Stacy Blackmon, Ramsey Blackmon, Terry Blackmon, David Watson and Scotty Blackmon.

Mrs. Blackmon will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
