Mrs. Eva Jo Luallen Pierce

Mrs. Eva Jo LuAllen Pierce, age 84 of Rossville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Mrs. Pierce was born in Chattooga County on January 14, 1937, daughter of the late Bill LuAllen and Josie Spain LuAllen.  She was retired from Defenders Cleaning.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by daughters, Dianne Gazaway and Wanda Lee; sons, Bernie Lee Pierce and Robert Lloyd Pierce; sisters, Henrietta Barnes, Patsy Collins and Betty Edgeworth; and brothers, Billy LuAllen and Kelly LuAllen.

Mrs. Pierce is survived by a daughter, Kathy Pierce; son, James Pierce; brother, Larry LuAllen; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pierce will be held Sunday, September 19. 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Russell and Rev. Don Bullard officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lyerly Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Pierce, Rocky Hatfield, Allen Barnes, Nathan Rosser, Chris Tapp and Justin Josenberger.

Mrs. Pierce will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
