Flora "Gartrelle" Elliott Burrage

April 18, 1928 — February 23, 2014

Mrs. Flora "Gartrelle" Elliott Burrage, age 85 of Summerville, GA passed away at Kindred Hospital on Sunday, February 23, 2014.  Mrs. Burrage was born in Gaylesville, AL on April 18, 1928.  She was retired from AT&T- Chicago as an assembler.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Lee Burrage; daughter, Marie Burrage Williams; daughter-in-law, Diane Wilson Burrage; father and mother, Milton Elliott and Lela Bagley Elliott; and brothers, Donald Elliott and J. D. Elliott. Mrs. Burrage is survived by son, David Lee Burrage; daughter, Doris Burrage (Charles Franklin) Jenkins; son-in-law, Thomas Dewey Williams; sister, Pauline Estelle Hines; grandchildren, Jeffrey Williams, Michelle Vernon, Tracy Eleam, Chris Jenkins, Franklin Jenkins, Billy Jenkins, Angie Jenkins, Jeremy Burrage, and Fabian Burrage; 21 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the Petitt Chapel of Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Holman and Rev. Stacy Evans officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens. Visitation for Mrs. Flora "Gartrelle" Elliott Burrage will be Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  At all other hours the family will be at the residence of the daughter, 56 Frances Street, Summerville, GA. Pallbearers will be Chris Jenkins, Billy Jenkins, Charles Jenkins, Tyler Rhinehart, B. J. Eleam, and Sammy Vernon. Coffman Funeral Home--Petitt Chapel is honored to be serving the family of Flora "Gartrelle" Elliott Burrage.
