Mrs. Frances E. Brown

Mrs. Frances E. Brown, age 53, of the Silver Hill Community, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Floyd Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Brown was born in Ocilla, Georgia on May 6, 1962, daughter of Joyce Oretha Gunter Teems and the late Charles White. She was a homemaker and loved to go to Flea Markets. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford White and her step-father, Arnold Teems. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, David Brown; sons, Dakota Brown and Charles Brown (Megan); mother, Joyce Teems; brothers, Raymond White, Randall White and Herman White; sister, Lucy Griffin; grandchildren, Brandon Lee Brown, Brandon Ray Brown and Branson Eli Brown; special friends, Becky Dawson and Whitney Culberson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Scoggins and Rev. Steve Pickern officiating. Interment will follow in the Silver Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chandler Teems, Cameron Carter, Ashley Culberson, Kenneth Dawson, Lee Dawson and Steve Teems. Mrs. Brown will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
