Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Mahan

Frances Elizabeth Mahan, age 95 of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly Summerville, passed away October 30, 2014. She was born in Summerville, Georgia on October 30, 1919, daughter of the late O.C. Mahan, Sr. and Willie Strickland Mahan. Frances resided in Washington, D.C. for many years and was employed by the Agriculture Department. She also did volunteer work at the White House for a number of Presidents. Mrs. Mahan was preceded in death by her brothers, Austin Mahan and O.C. Mahan Jr. Mrs. Mahan is survived by her caregivers, Charles and Eve Miller of Maryville, TN. Graveside and Interment services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. in the Family plot of Green Hills Memory Gardens. There is no formal visitation is planned.
