Mrs. Glenda Carol Hardin

Mrs. Glenda Carol Hardin, age 68, of Summerville, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Hardin was born in Summerville, Georgia on October 15, 1947, daughter of the late Dewitt Venable and Lessie Brown Venable. She was a member of the West Berryton Faith Temple and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardin was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Venable, Doris Grant, Jean Wooten, Edna Louise Venable and Joyce Lucille Venable. Mrs. Hardin is survived by her daughters, Karen Carr and her companion, Jeremy Thomas, and Melody Shaver; sisters, Shirley and Richard Benedict, Elaine and Bob Pledger and Dianne and Robert Croy; grandchildren, Jessica (Paul) Vaughn, Kasey(April) Shaver, Patrick (Haley) Shaver; Jacob Thomas, Kristin Shaver and Lily Flood; great grandchildren, Tyler Vaughn, Korei Shaver, Kaylie Shaver, Lydon Blake Shaver and Harper Shaver; special friend, Mike Jones, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Hardin will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. John Mann officiating. Interment will follow in the Perennial Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Thomas, Patrick Shaver, Kasey Shaver, Paul Vaughn, Jacob Thomas, and Korei Shaver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Robin Calvert, Erica Phillips, Brenda Johnston, and all Close Friends. Mrs. Hardin will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 P.M.
