Mrs. Glenda Faye (Watkins) Williams

Mrs. Glenda Faye Williams, age 80 of Trion, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Williams was born in Trion, Georgia on June 26, 1943, daughter of the late Ralph McKinley Watkins and Jewell Pack Watkins.  She was retired from Restaurant Enterprises and was of the Baptist Faith.  She was an accomplished golfer, loved flowers and loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her family, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee “Buddy” Williams, Jr.; and brothers, Edward “Buddy” Watkins and Frankie Watkins.

Mrs. Williams is survived by a daughter, Sheila Ann Day; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Pam Williams and Ronnie and Beth Williams; sisters and brother-in-law, Maggie Tucker, Betty Williams, Joyce and Alvin Grogan and Shirley Ratliff; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Diane Watkins, Paul and Bobbie Watkins, Ray and Linda Watkins, Cecil Watkins and Sherman Watkins; sister-in-law, Linda Griggs; grandchildren, Corey Day, Casey Day, Leann Willingham and Joe Williams; 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Williams will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Holman officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Roy Williams, Corey Day, Casey Day and Dakoda Willingham.

Mrs. Williams will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
