Mr. Gregory Lee Blevins

Mr. Gregory Lee Blevins, age 56 of Trion, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Floyd Medical Center.

Greg was born in Canton, Georgia on December 5, 1962, son of Martha Ellis Blevins and the late Clarence Norman Blevins. He was a computer Programmer with Roper and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Jacksonville State University. He enjoyed all sports, but was an avid Alabama Football Fan.

Greg is survived by his children, Ashley and Cain Smith, Jarin and Jennifer Blevins, Daniel and Melissa Blevins and Logan Blevins; mother, Martha Blevins; sister and brother-in-law, Suzie and Donald McGraw; grandchildren, Mylee Blevins, Bradlei Blevins, Curt Blevins, Finn Blevins, Huck Blevins, Sadie Smith and Sawyer Smith; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment Services for Greg will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. from the family plot in West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Casey Bramlett officiating.

Pallbearers will be Donald McGraw, Cain Smith, Logan Blevins, Jarin Blevins, Daniel Blevins and Curt Blevins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Bryant, Jack Lively and Jerry Wilson.

Greg will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.

The family respectfully asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Clarence Blevins Scholarship Fund at any branch of the United Community Bank.
