Helen Olene Dooley

Mrs. Helen Olene Dooley, age 84 of Summerville, GA  passed away July 17, 2013 at her residence.  Mrs. Dooley was born April 4, 1929 in Trion, GA.  She was retired from Best Manufacturing and a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Dooley was preceded in death by husband, J. W. "Pete" Dooley; father and mother, Will Christopher and Hattie Lancaster Christopher; and grandson, Eric Eley; several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Dooley is survived by daughter, Doris Eley of Summerville, GA; son, Jim (Karen) Dooley of Midland, GA; granddaughter, Katie Eley of Summerville, GA; granddaughter, Lauren (Thomas) Sikes of Midland, GA; great-grandson, Brad Ellis of Summerville, GA; great-granddaughters, Whitley Sikes and Mallory Sikes of Midland, GA; sisters, Margaret (Bill) Vollm of White, GA and Eunice Austin of Athens, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Olene Dooley will be conducted Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Wilborn officiating.  Interment will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Helen Olene Dooley will be Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be family.
