Mr. Hoyt Lee Bailey

Mr. Hoyt Lee Bailey, age 80 of Summerville, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Redmond Regional Medical. Mr. Bailey was born in Gore, Georgia on June 17, 1936, son of the late James Bailey and Pearl Fowler Bailey. He was an assembly line technician with Freightliner, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by a sister, Oneida Goodridge, and brothers, Jack Bailey, Richard Bailey, and Bud Bailey. Mr. Bailey is survived by his children, Hoyt Bailey, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, Michael Bailey, Michelle Bailey and Melissa Bailey; sisters, Erma Cureton and Opal Quarles; 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. In accordance with Mr. Bailey's wishes, he will be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
