J W Dupree

Mr. JW Dupree, age 88 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Dupree was born in Summerville, Georgia on November 13, 1933, son of the late Dewey Dupree and Gladys Lula Barksdale Dupree.  He was retired from Container Corporation in Chattanooga, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Dupree was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Dupree; brothers, Donnie Dupree and Dewey Dupree, Jr.; and a nephew, Johnny Dupree.

Mr. Dupree is survived by a brother, James Delin Dupree; sister, Anita Green; nephews, Steven Dupree and Winston Dupree; and a number of additional family members.

In accordance with Mr. Dupree’s wishes, he has been cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
