Mr. James Delwin Dupree, Sr.

Mr. James Delwin Dupree, Sr. age 78 of Menlo, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 9, 2021 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Dupree was born in Summerville, Georgia on August 15, 1943, son of the late Dewey Dupree and Gladys Lula Barksdale Dupree.  He was a member of the Chelsea Baptist Church and was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Dupree was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Brown Dupree; a sister, Edna Dupree; brothers, JW Dupree, Donnie Dupree and Dewey Dupree, Jr.; and a nephew, Johnny Dupree.

Mr. Dupree is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James D. Dupree, Jr. and his wife, Eulene; daughter, April Elrod; sister, Anita Green; grandchildren, Keenan Hennis and Avonlea Hennis; special niece, Barbara Dupree; special friend, Mark Grogan and a number of additional nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mr. Dupree’s wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service may be held by the family at a later date.
