James T. Jordan

Mr. James T. Jordan, age 79 of Lyerly, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at a Rome hospital.

Mr. Jordan was born in Alabama on October 6, 1945.  He attended the Sardis Baptist Church and was a retired pulpwood worker.  He enjoyed riding four wheelers and taking care of his dogs.  Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Wood and a brother, Robert Jordan.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his daughter, Anona Szymanski; sister, Laura Mae Keith; granddaughter, Angel Smith;  great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mr. Jordan’s wishes, he will be cremated and the family may hold a memorial service at a later date.
