Mrs. Jean Muriel Barnes

Mrs. Jean Muriel Barnes, age 75 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Barnes was born in Trion, Georgia on January 29, 1943, daughter of the late Charles David Lamb and Molly Louise Brown Lamb. Mrs. Barnes was a homemaker and was a member of Sonrise Community Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by, her sister Edna Barnes. Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband, Dennis Lamar Barnes, daughter, Brigitte Barnes ; grandchildren, Whitney Moose, and Hali Roberson; great-grandchildren, Jacob Hamilton, Chevie Moose, Carsyn Parish, Hazli Johnson and Rhett Roberson; special friends, Angie Price, Daniel Cook and Dewayne Cook, LeeAnn Floyd, and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services for Mrs. Barnes will be held Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home, with Dr. Steve Pickern officiating. The family of Mrs. Barnes will be gather at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M.
