Mrs. Jewell Roberts Brown

Mrs. Jewell Roberts Brown, age 93 of Trion, passed to her Heavenly Home, Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at a Rome Hospital.

Mrs. Brown was born in Rome, Georgia on June 16, 1928, daughter of the late JC and Sally Adams Roberts.  She was a member of the Trion United Methodist Church and prior to retirement, worked in the Lab at Riegel/Mt. Vernon Mills.  Mrs. Brown served on the Stew Committee at Trion United Methodist Church and enjoyed walking, sewing, cooking and gardening and working in her yard.  She was a loving Mother, Sister, Nanny and Friend to all that she met.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Brown; daughter, Patricia Ann Watson; granddaughter, Holly Cheree Watson; and 9 siblings:  Curly Roberts, Jake Roberts, WA Roberts, Bessie Ledford, Grace Haggard, Glad Casey, Mary Brown, Frank Roberts and Jimmy Roberts.

Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Tony Day; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Charlie Payne; grandchildren, Casey and Stefanie Brown, Josh and Jesse Day and Justin and Holly Day; great grandchildren, Dawson Day, Madison Day, Jax Day, Eme Day, Creek Day, Colin Mathis, Harley Harris, Macey Harris, and Lane Harris; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Skip Mitchell and Rev. Don Clark officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Tony Day, Josh Day, Dawson Day, Gwyne Brown, Matt Dooley and Justin Day.

The family offers a special thank you for you love and care to Connie Barnes, Annette Podscheine and Stephanie Shireman.

Mrs. Brown will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
