Mr. Jimmy Farrell Treadaway

Mr. Jimmy Farrell Treadaway, age 74 of Trion, Georgia passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Treadaway was born in Lafayette, Georgia on September 30, 1943, son of the late Lonnie Carl Treadaway and Hattie Mae Brown Treadaway. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, proudly serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion, was an avid fisher and was employed in the construction industry prior to his disability. Mr. Treadaway was preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Tommy and Randy Treadaway.

Mr. Treadaway is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, DeWayne and Dana Treadaway, Farrell Treadaway and John Treadaway; brothers, Bobby Treadaway, Jerry Treadaway and Billy Treadaway; sisters, Shirley Speer, Betty Mahan, Dianne Watkins, Debbie Pyper and Sandra Kirby; a granddaughter, Brittani Nicole Treadaway and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Treadaway will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Dietz officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Full Military Honors Provided by the Shanklin-Attaway Post 5 of the American Legion Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Treadaway, John Treadaway, Farrell Treadaway, DeWayne Treadaway, Taylor Jones and David Martin.

Mr. Treadaway will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
