Johnny Delano Padgett

Mr. Johnny Delano Padgett, age 60 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at a Rome Hospital.

Johnny was born in Summerville, Georgia on January 15, 1962, son of Frank Padgett and the late Sue Hunter Youngblood.  He was self employed as a brick mason and was of the Holiness Faith.  He enjoyed collecting model cars, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.  In addition to his mother, Johnny was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Maddie Shaw and a sister, Susan Owens.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Padgett; daughters, Kayla Padgett, Ashley Padgett, Angel Padgett and Susan Padgett; sons, Jonathan Padgett, Jeremy Padgett and Chase Padgett; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Iris Padgett; sisters and brother-in-law, Tammy and Leon Grogan, Jane Sims and Stephanie Owens; father, Frank Padgett; grandchildren, Serenity, Ivan, Khaled, Elsa, Aalayah, Madilyn, Piper and Lillith; nieces, Tonya Colburn, Shelby Grogan and Shantal Hatt; and nephews, Lavon Sims, Michael Padgett, Tyler Owens and Dustin Owens.

In accordance with Mr. Padgett’s wishes, he has been cremated and the family plans to hold a memorial service at a later date.
