Mr. Josh Gerson Tyler Brown

Mr. Joshua Gershon Tyler Brown, age 35 of Trion, Georgia passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 from injuries sustained in an accident.

Josh was born in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia on September 11, 1986, son of the late John Carroll and Sandra Lee Kilgore Phillips.  He was employed with Mt. Vernon Mills and also worked with Willingham Lawn Care on the side.  Josh was a hard worker and a Jack of All trades.  He loved anything that kept him outdoors, whether it be fishing, camping, four wheeling or helping mow yards.  Josh loved working on cars and would always be the first person there if you needed anything.

Josh is survived by a son, Jay (JC) Brown; daughter, Ella Brown; step-daughter, Jess Brown; sister, Amanda Mitchell; half brother, Phillip Carroll; Cousins, Riley Willingham, Nathan Brown, Mark Willingham, Jason Brown and Jill Caylor; and other family members and friends.

Funeral Services and a Celebration of Josh’s Life will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Friends and Family members speaking.   The family will have a private committal service at the lake at later date.

Josh will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
