Julia Ann (Judy) Hurley

Mrs. Julia (Judy) Hurley, age 75 of 20 Trixie Lane, Summerville, GA passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center.  Mrs. Hurley was born October 17, 1937 in Fort Payne, AL.  She had previously worked as Secretary for Hurley's Supermarket and was a housewife.  Mrs. Hurley was a faithful member of the Perennial Springs Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult Bible Sunday School Class. Mrs. Hurley was preceded in death, by daughter, Pamela Hurley; son, David Hurley; grandson, Dylan Hurley; parents, W. H. Hartline and Edith Powell Hartline; and a brother, W. H. "Buddy" Hartline, Jr. Mrs. Hurley is survived by husband, Wayne Hurley; sisters, Elaine Coker and Dot (John) Shankles; brothers, Larry (Donna) Hartline and Dan (Peggy) Hartline; grandchildren, Ethan Brison and Madysen Hurley. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the Perennial Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Waydell Howell and Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.  Music  will be by Patty Pledger Colgrove.  Interment will follow in the Perennial Springs Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Julia (Judy) Hurley will be Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Terry Hurley, Greg Hurley, Dan Hartline, John Shankles, Farrell Anderson, and Jason Jarrett.   Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Perennial Springs Baptist Church.
