Karl Douglass Stokes

Mr. Karl Douglass Stokes, age 61 of Trion, Georgia passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Stokes was born in San Jose, California on September 10, 1963, son of the late Larry Stokes and the late Delores Gary Ritz.  He had worked for Shaw Industries, Roper and other textile mills in the area, and was of the Baptist Faith.  He was a jack of all trades and loved working with his hands and being outdoors.  In addition to his mother, Mr. Stokes was preceded in death by a younger sister, Carina Stokes.

Mr. Stokes is survived by his wife, Mary Beverly Ann Stokes; daughter, Valerie Stokes; son, Jonathan Stokes; sisters and brothers-in-law, Angie and Paul Ladovaur and Rachel and Kenny Blackmon; and a number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Nieces and Nephews.

In accordance with Mr. Stokes’ wishes he will be cremated and there are no memorial services planned at this time.
