Mrs. Kathy Sweet Ingle

Mrs. Kathy Sweet Ingle, age 58 of Trion, Georgia passed away Wednesday,  April 14, 2021 at the Northside Cherokee Hospital in Canton, Georgia following a brief illness.

Kathy was born in Summerville, Georgia on January 20, 1963, daughter of Georgia Ann Brown Sweet and the late Charles Jefferson Sweet.  She was a member of the Berryton Church of God, where she was active in many areas including directing church plays and directing Vacation Bible School.  Kathy was employed with Hallmark as a retail merchandiser, and could often be seen changing out greeting cards at local stores. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.  She was an avid Fisher and enjoyed Decorating, but her favorite hobby was spending time with her family.  In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Sweet Gill.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Ingle; sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Candy Ingle and Charles “C.J.” Ingle; sisters and brother-in-law, Becky Sweet and Charla and Henry Forrester; Mother, Ann Sweet; grandson, Elijah Ingle; niece, Emily Sweet and nephews, Jesse Gill, Adam Gill, and Richard Forrester.

Funeral Services for Kathy will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Berryton Church of God with Pastor Jason Lee and Rev. Jeff Ford officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Gill, Adam Gill, Rodney Anglin, Jason Cash, Garrett Brown and Richard Forrester.

Kathy will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  On Sunday, Cathy will be carried to the Berryton Church of God where she will lie in state from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
