Kenneth Wayne Dalton

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Dalton, age 80, of Trion, Georgia, peacefully passed away at his home on October 28, 2026, joining his beloved wife Jan Dalton.

Born on October 23, 1946, in Trion, Ken was the cherished son of the late James Howell Dalton and Bernice Potter Dalton, and was lovingly raised by his stepmother Jewell Dalton. He was a dedicated member of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church and enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Tool and Die specialist at the Roper Corporation until his retirement.

Ken was preceded in death by Janice Marie Dalton, his devoted wife of 51 years; his sons, Robbie and Chris Dalton; grandson, Rob Dalton, Jr.; granddaughter, Brianna Dalrymple; as well as his sisters, Mary Ruth Causby, Jane DeBerry, Lorene Frost Boswell, and brother Charles Frost.

He is survived by his son Randy Dalrymple, Jr., and daughter-in-law Tracy; chosen daughter, Deb Stowe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronald and Gail Crouch; grandchildren, Chase Pursley, Samantha and Keina Jackson, Logan Pinion; and great-grandchildren, Koda Pursley and Addie Jackson. Ken also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at the Coffman Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Lamar Fine officiating, followed by interment at West Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include David Crouch, Chase Pursley, Andy Dalrymple, Logan Pinion, Randy Dalrymple, Jr., and Mike Tucker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.
