Kenneth Barnes Phillips

Mr. Kenneth Barnes “Kenny” Phillips, age 60 of Lafayette, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Phillips was born in Summerville, Georgia on January 10, 1966, son of Wilburn Phillips and Rita Wofford Phillips Warren. He was retired from Synthetic, where he was a supervisor. Mr. Phillips was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by a sister, Billie Jo Smith and his step-father, Bill “Daddy Bill” Warren.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his mother, Nancy Warren; longtime companion, Bonnie O’Neal; brothers, Michael Warren and Thomas Warren; sisters and brother-in-law, Tina Cox and Becky and Jody Pearson; special friends, Johnny Brown and Andy Vincent; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mr. Phillips’ wishes, he will be cremated and plans for a memorial service have not been finalized.
